Job summary

Lourdes Hospital, part of Mercy Health, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to keep the department running smoothly.

You’ll handle order entry, result look-up, report generation, and associated calls in a friendly, efficient manner while ensuring patient safety and accurate labeling. Travel to off-site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Phlebotomist certification preferred but not required.
• One-year phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Enter orders, look up results, generate reports, and handle clerical tasks.
• Answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
