Quest Diagnostics Inc. in West Seneca, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist III to travel within an assigned territory, performing venipuncture and specimen processing with a focus on accuracy and patient experience. Monday to Friday schedule with rotational weekend coverage is included.

The role requires proven phlebotomy expertise, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume setting while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• Travel up to 75% across territory within assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections via venipuncture and capillary draws, including difficult cases.
• Obtain patient identification and ensure accurate labeling and data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required.
• Verify orders and confirm documentation using lab systems or directories of services.
• Provide professional patient experience and address questions with clear communication.
