Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist III to cover Manassas, VA, traveling within an assigned territory to collect specimens at PSCs, client sites, or other locations. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient identification, and adherence to testing protocols to ensure high-quality laboratory results.

You will work Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends, and a pay range of $24.95–$26.75 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures, including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures to confirm labeling accuracy; perform data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage as required.
• Communicate collection procedures clearly and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
