Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care facilities by restocking medications, maintaining ADS accuracy, and ensuring proper billing. The role requires local Central Florida residency and a valid driver’s license for travel.

MUST have FL Pharmacy Technician license and experience with Pyxis/Omnicell. Strong organization and data-entry skills are essential for daily operations and reporting via care systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
• One year of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and data entry.
• Ability to use various programs and troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Basic math and analytical abilities.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently under supervision.
• Deliver medication restocks to skilled nursing home facilities.
• Maintain communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Use reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain accurate ADS information (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies for proper billing.
• Replace expiring inventory and restock depleted stock.
• Conduct monthly cycle count audits.
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor
• Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)

Qualifications

• Important: Must be local to Central Florida area
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Ability to physically perform light lifting
• A valid driver’s license & car insurance and reliable transportation required
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Florida
