Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is looking for a Travel Pharmacy Technician to support Automated Dispensing Systems across assigned behavioral health facilities. You will replenish ADS units, manage cart inventories, and prepare daily and monthly reports.

This role requires regular travel among client sites, the second shift (~10 hours), and holds a New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration. Independent, detail-focused work in a field setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in New Jersey (NJS Registration) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred; long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Restock and replenish inventory for Automated Dispensing Systems and Medication carts
• Maintain accurate inventory at each ADS unit, auditing for quantity and expiration date
• Conduct monthly cycle count audits
• Identify and replace inventory approaching expiration
• Pull and pack medications for daily delivery routes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate billing
• Use company applications and databases to generate and review reports
• Prepare standard documentation and reports, including discrepancy logs and expense reports
• Maintain active communication with client facility staff and pharmacy personnel
• Work independently in the field with limited direct supervision
• Perform additional duties as assigned
