Job summary

Seven Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and inventory management in a professional healthcare setting.

This position features 2nd shift hours, a weekly pay of $1,108.80, and a 26-week assignment with opportunities for license and certification reimbursement, health insurance, and paid travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy technology or equivalent role.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under direct supervision.
• Entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement payment.
• Pre-packaging medication for dispensing as per standards and regulations.
• Assisting Registered Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions.
• Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies.
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment and checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
