Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS required for this assignment; PALS may be obtained onsite.
• Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience required.
• Must be flexible with shifts and hours.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and medication safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and promptly.
• Process controlled substances according to applicable policies and regulations.
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety.
• Support inpatient and emergency department pharmacy services as needed.
• Maintain current medication knowledge and follow facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care.
