Capstone Health in Rangely, CO is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge for a travel assignment of 13 weeks to lead the retail pharmacy operation. You will ensure safety, compliance, and effective pharmaceutical care in a rural setting.

The role requires a PharmD, active CO license, CPR and immunization certifications, and at least one year of experience. Expect to coordinate with physicians and staff, manage inventory, and support quality and payer activities.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy or equivalent experience.
• Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing.
• CPR certification and immunization certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, inspections, and records.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and submit third-party claims.
• Consult with physicians, nurses, patients on medications, formulary options, and cost-effective therapies.
• Monitor storage, distribution, and inventory levels and expiration dates.
• Document medication errors and support quality and safety efforts.
• Maintain drug accountability records and assist with third-party reporting.
• Administer immunizations and support credentialing activities.
