Job summary

Jackson PharmacyPros is seeking a licensed travel pharmacist for a Nashville, Tennessee assignment. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and rotating days, including every other weekend.

You will review orders, provide clinical recommendations, and oversee both sterile and non-sterile compounding while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must have TN State License to Apply.
• 2 Years Hospital Inpatient experience required.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Antimicrobial stewardship and Med Rec experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, allergies, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Provide clinical recommendations regarding medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and adjustments.
• Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile medication compounding as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with controlled-substance regulations, medication storage requirements, and hospital pharmacy policies.
