Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for a 13-week onsite contract in Durham, NC. Will perform PET/CT imaging, manage radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety under physician supervision.

Requirements include NMTCB/ARRT (N) and Nuclear Medicine license, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET experience. Work hours are 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, with weekly gross pay of $3,000 and potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification and Nuclear Medicine license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of PET experience within modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
