Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET Technologist to support imaging services in Durham, NC. The role combines PET and CT imaging and requires active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification with 2 years PET experience under a 13-week onsite contract.

You will administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate PET/CT scanners, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images in diverse clinical settings. Travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification and Nuclear Medicine license are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PET within the modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety during procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
