Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET Technologist to support healthcare systems on a 13-week onsite contract in Durham, NC. The position requires NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification, a Nuclear Medicine license, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET experience.

You will perform PET/CT imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety and image quality. The role offers a weekend/evening schedule (1pm-9:30pm) with a weekly gross of $3,000 and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification and Nuclear Medicine license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PET imaging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Ensure alignment and quality of PET/CT datasets for diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
