Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for an immediate travel position in Midland, TX. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. The candidate must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

PALS/NRP may be required in some areas. As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care, perform evaluations and treatments, and maintain records while ensuring safety and quality of care across

Qualifications

• Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS.
• 1 year of acute care experience as a respiratory therapist.
• Peds-RRT experience preferred; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Travel assignment in Midland, TX with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in various clinical areas.
• Perform evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate, maintain, and disassemble respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and lab analysis as required.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
