Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate travel assignment. The role requires NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS with possible PALS/NRP, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

You will work 36 hours per week across 12‑hour shifts, with a rotating schedule. The Pediatric RRT will deliver direct patient care, perform a range of modalities, document care, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS required; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in varying clinical areas.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples as required.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
