Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP PEDS) to provide outpatient speech therapy to children and adolescents in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and documenting sessions in Epic. You will use augmentative communication devices as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility to be reallocated within a 75+ mile radius and complete orientation hours prior to start.

Qualifications

• CA SLP license and CCC-SLP required; BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience, including 1 year in a hospital.
• Preferred experience in pediatric outpatient, rehabilitation, or PICU settings.
• Strong documentation, assessment, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP PEDS) providing outpatient speech therapy services for pediatric and adolescent patients in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, deliver treatment, and evaluate speech, language, and developmental delays. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage patients with complex needs such as tracheostomies or ventilator dependence, and perform modified barium swallow studies. Provide face-to-face therapy, educate patients and families, and maintain documentation using electronic systems like Epic.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a hospital environment, CA SLP license, BLS certification, and CCC-SLP. Preferred experience in pediatric outpatient, rehabilitation, or PICU settings. Ability to evaluate and treat communication disorders, developmental delays, and manage complex medical cases. Strong documentation, assessment, and patient education skills are essential.
