Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in diverse pediatric populations. Responsibilities include assessing and developing individualized treatment plans, conducting screenings, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and delivering therapy in acute care settings.

This role requires ASHA certification, state license, and BLS, with at least 6 months experience; new graduates

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an SLP; 1 year preferred, with new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Current ASHA-SLP certification, state license, and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, or lean for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
• Perform screenings to identify speech or voice disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders, including causes and management strategies.
• Report patient progress and current status to relevant parties, ensuring accurate documentation per guidelines.
• Provide therapy in an acute care setting, addressing diverse patient needs.
