Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Morgantown, WV. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience and NBRC-RRT certification with BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas. The position involves 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and duties across pediatric respiratory care.

Travel RRTs will participate in patient evaluations, documentation, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC-RRT certification and current BLS/ACLS.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas for pediatric patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyses per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
