Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Pediatric OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. You will provide perioperative patient care and support the surgical team in a fast-paced OR setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of pediatric OR RN experience, valid RN license in VA, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification, with CNOR or ACLs preferred. Travel compensation includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Pediatric Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies ready for procedures.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Monitors patient condition, documents changes, notifies surgeon as needed.
• Documents care and participates in handoffs pre- and post-operatively.
