Job summary

The Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse role with Fusion Medical Staffing is a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. You will provide perioperative care, prep and position patients, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

We seek an RN with 1 year of pediatric OR experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/PALS or ENPC certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Position and prep patients for surgery ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection-control protocols.
• Assist surgical team by providing instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document changes.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and proper disposal per policy.
• Document patient care details in the perioperative setting.
• Participate in handoff communication before and after surgery.
• Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases.
