Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) at a medical facility in Oakland. This role involves providing surgical services exclusively for pediatric patients, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a 10-hour shift schedule primarily during daytime hours, with potential rotations based on departmental needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/27/2026 and ending on 02/02/2027
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification, 3 years of experience, and experience working in pediatric operating room settings
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certification, ambulatory surgery experience, and pediatric cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience
• Additional Information: Ability to float to other UCSF campuses may be required. The position requires prior pediatric OR experience, with familiarity in complex procedures such as congenital anomalies, pediatric cardiovascular surgery, and other pediatric surgical specialties.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS; CNOR preferred
• Skills: Experience with pediatric surgical procedures, blood product administration, and use of Epic charting system

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
