Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) registered nurse position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing assessment, coordination, and delivery of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care within an acute setting. The OR nurse develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care, fostering collaboration among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 2 years of telemetry experience, and experience working in perioperative or operating room settings. Candidates must be proficient with the Epic charting system and have previous community hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience and trauma level I or II experience are preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents, including work history verification for the past 7 years and current certifications, are due 10 days prior to start. Orientation hours are 40. Candidates will be expected to work rotating shifts with no on-call requirement.
