Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access RN with ultrasound-guided IV placement experience and MA RN licensure required to join our acute care pediatric hospital team.

You will work on the IV Therapy Vascular Access Team serving pediatric to adult patients, including HemeOnc and ICU vascular access, with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotation. First-time travelers are welcome; local candidates within 50 miles at reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric vascular access team experience.
• Ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder experience.
• Skilled in insertion and management of vascular access devices including PICC lines and implanted ports.
• Experience caring for neonatal and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular access insertions, assessments, and troubleshooting for pediatric and adult patients.
• Work within a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, Level III/IV NICU teaching hospital.

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access RN with ultrasound-guided IV placement experience and MA RN licensure required.

• Work on the IV Therapy Vascular Access Team in an acute care pediatric hospital setting
• Pediatric to adult patient population including HemeOnc and ICU vascular access needs
• Day/Evening/Night rotation with 12-hour shifts starting at 7am, 11am, or 7pm
• Weekend work required
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Scrub color is any solid color for all units, except OR (provided) and SPT (any color, not provided)

Requirements

• Skilled in insertion and management of vascular access devices including PICC lines and implanted ports
• Experience with site and vessel selection, patency assessment, and vascular access troubleshooting
• Experience caring for neonatal and pediatric patients required
