Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Pediatric Echocardiography with 2+ years of pediatric congenital heart scanning experience. The role is based in Little Rock, AR, at a leading pediatric teaching hospital.

You will perform pediatric echocardiograms, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in a Level 1 Trauma Center and NICU environment. Local candidates preferred; nicotine testing required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as Ultrasound Technologist.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Recent congenital pediatric echocardiograms experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Be part of Heart Station unit in a 359-bed pediatric teaching hospital.
• Work 8-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
• Respond to call approximately every 11th weekend and about six weekday shifts per assignment.
• Some call may occur at affiliated facility (UAMS).
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 4 NICU teaching hospital.
• Maintain a fast-paced, team-based workflow in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Candidates must test negative for nicotine.
• Local candidates accepted; first-time travelers considered.
