Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing in Olathe, KS is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment, working 12-hour nights with 36 hours weekly in a busy Progressive Care Unit.

Eligible candidates hold KS RN or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH, and have 2 years of Critical Care/ICU/ED experience. You must be comfortable with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and performing own lab draws, with float to related units.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience.
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing own labs.
• Comfortable floating to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Tele, ED) with prior experience.
• Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires is a plus.

Experience Requirements: 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience (looking for candidates with strong critical thinking skills), Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing their own labs, Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling on own consults, and conducting own codes, Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires (patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1 tops)License/ Certification Requirements: KS RN or Compact RN License along with BLS, ACLS, & NIHFloating Requirements: Will be expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units- Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience
