Start Date: May 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in the PCU/stepdown unit.
• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Manage cardiac drips (no titration) and assist with other instrumentation.
• Ensure patient stability and coordinate transitions to appropriate units.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license (or pending license accepted if active prior to start).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU/stepdown; preferred 2 years. First‑time travelers accepted.
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac/stroke care, and cardiac drip management.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Proficiency with the Cerner electronic health record.
• COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations required unless medically or religiously exempt.
• Resides outside a 50‑mile radius of South Bend; local candidates not accepted.
