Job summary

Job Overview

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for an assignment in Bloomington, Indiana.

Assignment details: 13‑week assignment, start date July 14, 2026; 12‑hour night shifts; 36 hours per week; travel role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in PCU including post‑cardiac surgery, TAVI/TAVR, arterial line, blood product, central line, and PICC line care.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Care for ventilated patients.
• Manage post cardiac surgery patients, thoracic surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, and other relevant diagnoses.

Qualifications

• 18 months RN experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Comfortable caring in PCU and MedSurg settings.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Charting system: Cerner.
• Licensure: IN state license, compact, or temporary license prior to start; license must be in hand by start date.
• Must work two out of three major holidays.
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID‑19 vaccine not required.
• Two supervisor references required.
• Travelers University accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation.
• Ability to float 100% within hospital or affiliate, as required.
