Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel assignment in Hawaii. This role involves primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and procedures such as telemetry strip reading and fingerstick glucose checks within a 15-bed unit that includes step-down ICU and telemetry services.

Hawaii license is required by the start date; assignment starts 10/19/2026 and ends 01/18/2027. Shifts are rotating 8-hour blocks, with a minimum of 40 hours per week after orientation.

Qualifications

• Hawaii RN license required or able to obtain before start date.
• 1 year hospital acute care experience in the last year preferred.
• PALS and NIHSS certification preferred; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care and telemetry monitoring.
• Perform telemetry strip readings and fingerstick glucose checks.
• Float to all acute units within the facility as needed.
