Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse (RN) to fill a 20-week assignment in Evansville, IN. The role requires 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts, in a Progressive Care Unit setting. ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.

NIH certification may be required; travel experience preferred. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vitals, titrate medications, and operate monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care experience
• RN licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and respond to abnormal findings.
