MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift in a Progressive Care Unit, delivering high-quality patient care as part of a travel team.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification, with 18+ months of acute care PCU/step-down experience. Additional client-specific requirements apply.

Competenze

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Mansioni

• Assess patient needs and signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with outcomes and nursing interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education; revise care plan as needed.
