Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a Plano, Texas assignment. This PCU role focuses on patients needing close monitoring but not ICU-level care, with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The right candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS and BLS certifications. A fast-paced, high-stakes environment requires strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year PCU or acute care experience required.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor cardiac and vital signs with monitoring equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
