Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Plano, Texas. The 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS, and at least 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience. Travel benefits and housing options are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license

• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses monitor patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs, titrate medications as needed, and respond to changes quickly.
