Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an experienced PCU RN for an immediate travel assignment in Plano, TX. This role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and involves 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week rotation.

As a PCU travel nurse, you will monitor cardiac and other vital signs, titrate IV medications, and perform essential bedside care. TotalMed offers weekly pay, benefits, and paid time off as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of RN experience; 1–2 years in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays; respond to changes.
