Qualifications

• RN specialization in PCU/Progressive Care Unit.
• Basic nursing education; minimum of 0 years experience; two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team; documents patient data and responses accurately.
• Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning.
• Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching; communicates changes in patient status.
• Supervises ancillary staff; may assume charge after orientation.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards; engages in ongoing professional development.
