Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour day shifts, starting on 09/28/2026.

The RN will evaluate patients, plan and document care, assist physicians, and administer medications within the scope of practice. A focus on patient education and safe transitions is key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Arizona nursing license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiar with cardiac drips, TAVR, and Watchman clips.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in PCU, including assessment, planning, and documentation.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families to support independence.
