Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Denton, Texas. The RN will cover 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, on a 13-week assignment. Start ASAP with a hospital-based PCU caring for stroke patients and cardiac drips in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications include an active RN license, 1 year of RN experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Preferred: preceptor or charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas or multi-state license
• 1 year of RN experience in PCU or similar unit
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required

Responsibilities

• Manage stroke patients, cardiac drips, and patients on bipap.
• Follow unit-specific policies and SOPs to ensure safe patient care.
• Provide compassionate, team-oriented care in a busy hospital setting.
