Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Temple, Texas. The RN will deliver safe, quality patient care following established care plans while supervising ancillary staff in a dynamic clinical environment.

Start date is 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Required credentials include BLS (and ACLS for CIRH), at least two years bedside experience, and current RN licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift for CIRH.
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience; RN licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care following established care plans.
• Supervise ancillary nursing staff and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and initiate discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in patient education.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation and pursue ongoing professional development.
