Job summary
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The RN will provide specialized patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, supervise ancillary staff, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on nights.
Requirements include valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, ICU experience, and ability to work nights. Travel benefits include housing options, comprehensive health insurance, competitive pay, and support throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license in PA or eligible for PA licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to first shift.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification prior to first shift.
- ICU experience required or strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop individualized care plans and initiate discharge planning.
- Provide patient teaching and ensure safety and quality standards.
- Supervise nursing staff and participate in team conferences.
- Possibility to assume charge responsibilities after orientation.
