Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

The PCU RN will monitor patients who require close observation and frequent assessment, administer medications, and operate monitoring equipment. This 13-week travel assignment requires 36 hours per week, with night shifts on a 12-hour schedule. 1-2 years of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Progressive Care/step-down experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital unit.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize cardiac patients and provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and titrate IVs.
• Interpret monitoring equipment displays and respond to changes.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team during emergencies.
