Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Augusta, GA. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and vital signs, titrate medications, and provide close patient observation in a fast-paced setting.

Required are 1-2 years of acute care, ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts for a 36-hour week on travel assignment in Georgia.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
