Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Kearney, Nebraska. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, for 13 weeks with a start date of 09/28/2026.

The RN will provide care for adult patients with cardiac, renal, and post-procedural conditions, perform telemetry interpretation, titrate drips, and may float to Medical-Surgical or ICU units as needed. Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Open to candidates with at least 0 years of experience.
• Floating to Medical-Surgical or ICU units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Troubleshoot high-flow oxygen devices.
• Manage titratable drips (e.g., Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Insulin).
• On-shift leadership by a charge nurse on each shift.
