Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana. The PCU RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment in a fast-paced environment.

Start Date: 10/05/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours/week • Shift: 12 hours, days • Travel Employment. 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS required with possible NIH certification.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIH certification may be required; additional certifications may be needed before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage IVs and dressings.
• Observe and operate monitoring equipment and respond to alarms.
