Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in El Paso, Texas. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Immediate opening for experienced PCU RNs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. The PCU nurse monitors cardiac patients using telemetry and provides targeted care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients and operate telemetry/equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, and catheter care.
• Support rapid response when monitoring data indicates changes.
