Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. We are looking for PCU RNs for an immediate opening in Dayton, OH.

The right candidate should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and be willing to travel for a 13‑week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12‑hour nights. As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will monitor cardiac and other vital signs, administer medications, and provide bedside care while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret and record vital signs.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
