Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The PCU RN cares for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, utilizing monitors and equipment to detect changes and intervene when needed.

As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care for PCU patients.
• Stabilize and monitor cardiac patients using specialized equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Assist with procedures and IV insertion as needed.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team.
