Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse in Fort Worth, TX for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on day shifts. The RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and be ACLS/BLS certified.

Travel experience preferred and a strong ability to monitor and respond to patient needs is essential. The PCU nurse will care for patients requiring close monitoring, operate monitoring equipment, and administer medications while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care for monitored patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
