Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. You will care for patients in a Progressive Care Unit with close monitoring and frequent assessments, handling medications and IVs in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications. Duties include bedside care, monitoring equipment, and rapid response to evolving clinical situations to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
