Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Travel PCU RN for Henderson, KY. This 13-week assignment runs 48 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts in a Progressive Care Unit. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications such as ACLS and BLS.

The PCU role involves monitoring cardiac patients, titrating IV meds, and coordinating care with the ICU and ward teams. Travel benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret and record displays.
• Communicate changes to the care team and intervene as needed.
