Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac and other vital signs with close patient assessment, and intervene when necessary to prevent emergencies.

Requirements include active RN license, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months in PCU/Step-down. Starting 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses monitor patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• PCU nurses monitor cardiac and other vital signs, detect changes, and enable intervention of emergencies.
