Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The PCU RN will provide bedside care, monitor patients, and administer medications during a 12-hour night shift. This travel opportunity requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant certifications.

RNs must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times and handle a fast-paced environment. The assignment is 12 weeks long with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification and NIH certification.
• Must be able to travel and work 12-hour nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
