Job summary

PEL/VIP seeks a travel RN for the PCU unit in High Point, NC. The role focuses on continuous monitoring of patients with cardiac and respiratory needs, with experience in telemetry or PCU preferred. 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 12-week assignment.

Start date 09/28/2026; EPIC charting system; teaching hospital setting; travel employment with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Requirements include 1 year cardiac telemetry/PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU experience required.
• Ability to monitor cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic and neurologic status.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic and neurologic status
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications as needed
• Care for post-operative cardiac and respiratory failure patients
• Interpret cardiac strips and manage arterial lines
